Process for Change/ Update Address and Other Details
- Complete this application form to be the initial applicant. Include proof of an address change or other information.

- Village Panchayat Head, or Mukhiya

- MP/ MLA/ MLC/ Muncipal Councilor

UIDAI permits cardholders with Aadhaar cardsto change their address without needing documents. Aadhaar cardholders are able to change their addresseven if they did not provide evidence of their identity.
New Delhi: The Unique Identification Authority of India has temporarily stopped a crucial facility which allows you to alter the address of your Aadhaar card's address with no document of your address.
UIDAI lets holders of Aadhaar cards to change their address without needing any documents. Aadhaar card holders are able to update their address, provided they agree to the authentication by the verifier of their address. A verifier of address could be a friend, relative landlord, family member or even a friend who allows the Aadhaar card owner to utilize their address as proof.
UIDAI has stopped this feature. UIDAI replied to an Aadhaar Card owner by tweeting that the capability to update address on the Aadhaar Card through an Address Validation Letter was canceled. UIDAI has requested for the Aadhaar Issuers to inform users to update their address using a acceptable PoA document.

UIDAI has listed the following documents in the form of POA documents (Proof of Address) documents that include the name and address for Aadhaar cards

Statement/Passbook for Post Office Accounts
Driving licence
Water Bill (not more than 3 months)
Telephone Landline Bill (not older than 3 months)
The Credit Card Account Statement (not more than 3 months old).
Letter signed by the recipient with a photo of an authorized company on letterhead
Pensioner Card
Freedom Fighter Card
Kissan Passbook
Passport of Spouse
Parents' passports (in cases of children)
Central/ State Govt. issued an allotment notice to accommodate. (Not longer than three years)
Bhamashah Card/Jan-Aadhaar card issued by the Governmentt. Rajasthan
Certificate issued by the Superintendentor Wardenor Matron/ Head of Institution of a recognized shelter home orphanages, etc. on UIDAI standard certificate format for enrolment/ update
